The clever single blade is based on a falling sycamore seed pod and is specially made for great airflow performance at ultra low speeds.
The Sycamore Ceiling Fan White 54″ establishes a new level of excellence in the design of ceiling fans. Inspired by the beauty of a falling Sycamore tree seed pod, the Sycamore is engineered to the highest standard and is not only unique and innovative, but quiet and efficient. In addition, the Sycamore Ceiling Fan was the winner of the 2005 Australian Good Design award and is known for its energy efficiency, low degree of turbulence and whisper quiet operation.
The remarkable performance of the Sycamore Ceiling Fan has been achieved through the development of its moulded polymer, balanced single blade. The organic form of the blade delivers excellent airflow at lower operating speeds than conventional 3 or 4 bladed fans, creating a comfortable environment. The low operating speed also allows the form of the blade to be appreciated, even when the fan is in use.
The Sycamore comes standard as a hugger ceiling fan (mounted flush to the ceiling) however it can also be suspended from a downrod. For suspended installation, you will require not only an accessory Extension Downrod, but an Extension Ceiling Kit. The Extension Ceiling Kit includes a hanging bracket and canopy kit for suspended installation.
Important Note: The Sycamore ceiling fan cannot be installed directly onto a sloped ceiling. For installation on a raked ceiling (up to 22°) you will require an accessory Extension Downrod as well as an Extension Ceiling Kit. To install the Sycamore on a raked ceiling between 22° and 45°, you will require an accessory Extension Downrod, Extension Ceiling Kit as well as a 45° Ceiling Kit.

Your Iconic Fan Company or The Modern Fan Company ceiling fan (excluding accessories such as the Remote Control Transmitter and Receiver, Accessory Light Kit & Wall Control) is covered by a three year warranty. Remote Control Receiver and Transmitters (Handsets), Accessory Light Kits (integrated or externally mounted) and Wall Controls are covered by a one year warranty. No further warranty is offered on these items after the one year period.
All fixtures sold must be installed by a licensed electrician.
